Terms of service
The plain-language agreement for using Betterstill to run your studio — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
Effective 14 July 2026. These terms are between you and Betterstill, the provider of the service.
The short version
Use Betterstill to run your own studio, keep your account details accurate, and don’t misuse the service or try to reach another studio’s data. Your client payments are created as destination charges and settle to your connected Stripe account.
Using Betterstill
To use Betterstill you need an account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for making sure your studio’s use of the service — and the client information you enter — follows the law that applies to you.
Your studio, your content
Your data stays yours — your clients, bookings, schedule and records. You grant us only the permissions we need to store that content and run the service for you, such as displaying it back to you, sending the messages you configure, and backing it up. You can use the audited client data-request tools to export or erase an individual client’s personal data on that client’s behalf.
Acceptable use
When you use Betterstill, please don’t:
- Use the service to break the law or to send messages your recipients haven’t agreed to receive.
- Try to access another studio’s data, or probe, disrupt or overload the service.
- Upload malware, or attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the platform.
- Misrepresent who you are or use the service to harm your clients.
Payments and billing
Each client payment is created as a destination charge and settles to your connected Stripe account — Betterstill adds no transaction fee of its own, though standard Stripe processing fees apply. You’re responsible for the taxes that apply to your studio.
Availability and changes
Betterstill is early-stage software that we improve continuously, so features may change over time. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we plan a change that meaningfully affects how you work, we’ll aim to give you reasonable notice.
Liability
Betterstill is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our responsibility for the service is limited to what the law permits. Nothing here removes rights you have that can’t be waived.
Ending your use
You can stop using Betterstill whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts other studios or clients at risk — where we can, we’ll tell you why first.
Changes to these terms
When something meaningful changes, we’ll update the effective date and make the change visible here.
